Nakita na ang nawawalang City na nasa pinaka ilalim ng isang lawa at talagang ikakagulat niyo ito

The maze of while temples, memorial arches, paved roads, and houses which hide 130 feet underwater which is the China's real-life Atlantis. The Shi-Cheng which is the center of politics and economics in the eastern province of Zhejiang, the so-called, Lion City was tucked in a lake between the Five Lion Mountain. The Chinese government then decided to have a new hydroelectric power station so they established a man-made lake in 1959. To build the lake for the Xin'an River Dam project, the valley was flooded in 1950. An ancient city is known as Shi Cheng ('Lion City") which lies at the foot of Wu Shi Mountain (or "Five Lion" Mountain). It was first set up as a country in AD 208 and created during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 200).

From the nearby Wu Shi Mountain which is located behind the city where the city acquired the name "Shi Cheng." At this day, Shi Cheng remains calm at a depth of 26-40 m. Big Blue, which is a dive operator based in Shanghai, which runs year-round weekend trips twice a month to Qiandao Lake and has started the investigation of the sunk city.

After the completion of the Xin'an River hydroelectric station in 1959, were the Qiandao Lake was formed which is a man-made lake located at the Chun'an County. There were five city gates in all direction as stated by the restored map of Shicheng. Altogether there are five towers but you can only find one tower in every city gates. The six streets of Shicheng City were used to link each of the corners of the city as a whole.

The normal roads in Shicheng City were stoned roads, tidily paved by flagstone and pebbles. The thought of using Shi Cheng as a destination for diving clubs was introduced by the local officials which are in charge of tourism which is the Qui Feng. Qui stated when the first journey was to find out:

"We ere lucky. As soon as we dived into the lake, we found the outside wall of the town and even picked up a brick to prove it."

There is also a hidden tunnel in Mexico which is a shortcut that will bring to you to the California, USA. The wooden beams and stairs were also included to the findings that the whole town was still intact. The whole city has been branded a 'time capsule' which is protected from wind, rain, and sun. Today, the film crew has been on the place to record the security of the lost ruins and also the city now captured the attention of the archaeologists.

China's Atlantis which is the Chinese City that is forgotten after it was flooded when the government established a dam that transformed the valley into a lake, has resurfaced as an underwater adventure park for tourist. And because it was located in the province of Zhejiang which was surrounded by the five Lion Mountains that's why it's called as the Lion City.

When the Chinese government decided they needed a hydroelectric power station, it was discovered 1,300 years ago and faded from the view 53 years ago. The city was left at the bottom of this newly discovered body of the water when the dam was established to build a man-made lake and as the water rose.
