The true cause for Pityriasis rosea is still confusing. Few of the evidence reveals that the rashes maybe stimulated on a viral infection, particularly by the distinct strains of the herpes virus. However, it is not linked with the herpes strain which it generated the cold sores. Furthermore, Pityriasis rosea is not deemed to infect people.
