Experts then came to the scene to take a glance at it and were equally amazed at the findings. During the Roman Empire which the ancient jars or also known as 'amphoras' were generally used. Amphoras were used as the area to bring olive oil or wine. Plus, the researchers stated that the ancient jars and coins dated way back to the third or fourth century A.C.E. Legendary Roman emperors like Constantine and Maximian in which they were inscribed on the coins.
However, this isn't the first time that we have found Roman coins. We also have created similar findings in the past but what fixed this apart from the rest is the absolute amount of the coins found. The magnitude of this finding was celebrated by archeologists worldwide even though they are just only old coins. Now, in order for the researchers to understand more about the life of the Romans in the past, they are still studying the coins and the artifacts.
They are thinking to show the ancient coins in Seville Archeological Museum for public view after this. This will certainly stimulate the public’s interest not only in the artifacts themselves but also with the life of the Roman people in the past. What can you say about this great discovery?
