The mummy was thought to have lived during the Ming Dynasty according to the report. Her facial features, body, skin, eyelashes and silk-cotton clothes were surprisingly well-preserved. This lady may have been a high ranking official 700 years ago as the Researchers from the Museum of Taizhou thought.

However, how the mummy's silk and cotton dress were preserved makes the Researchers surprise. They said that this type of clothes that made from this material don't usually survive the test of time. Whoever this mummy was may have been a part of an aristocratic class, however, this could imply that their theory was right.
