Isang sakit na hindi gugustuhin ng lahat na kumakalat ngayon ang Sintomas na dapat malaman ng lahat

A group of scholars from Public Health England wrote a research in a Lancet Infectious Disease Journal that states scarlet fever is on the growth in England and East Asia during the last quarter of 2017. In 2011, Hong Kong experienced an outburst of the infection, however, the World Health Organization (WHO) guaranteed the people that it was still safe and okay for the Filipino travelers to travel to Hong Kong during that moment. The newly reported burst of scarlet fever has so far frustrated the researchers. According to the reports of CNN Philippines:

"Whilst current rates(in England) are nowhere near those seen in the early 1900s, the magnitude of the recent upsurge is greater than any documented in the last century. Whilst notifications so far for 2017 suggests a slight decrease in numbers, we continue to monitor the situation carefully ... and research continues to further investigate the rise."

As stated also on the reports of CNN that since 2009 such case was firmly rising in many East Asian Countries, namely Vietnam, South Korea, Hong Kong and mainland China. About 20,000 cases of scarlet fever were reported in 2016. The rising number of scarlet fever cases from 2013 to 2014 which was around 4,700 to 15,000 is what's more troubling of all.

Scarlet fever or also known as scarlatina is a disease that typically attacks the children range under the age of 10. Strep throat and/or a skin infection is one of the effects of it.

However, the long-term effects of it are the rheumatic fever, kidney inflammation, skin and ear infections, abscesses, pneumonia, and arthritis. A sore throat, swollen neck glands, headaches, body chills, nausea, and vomiting are the signs of the said disease.

The first noticeable sign of scarlet fever is the 'strawberry tongue' which is distinguished by a red color and many lumps all over and it was mixed with a throat covered in a white substance.

Researchers are still working to find out the causes behind the current uptick in the scarlet fever reports. The potential assumptions that they had include changes in the human immune status, environmental causes, and the disease flying from Asia to England, however, it is still worth writing that they have still inadequate proof to prove these claims.

The Public Health England, Theresa Lagmani stated:

"Whilst there is no clear connection between the situation in the UK and East Asia, a link cannot be excluded without a better understanding of the drivers behind these changes. The hunt for further explanations for the rise in scarlet fever goes on."
