Pop Hernandez is a Filipina singer-actress and she is also one of those celebrities who are relaxing and taking her time outside the showbiz. Pop was known for being "The Concert Queen.” In 1982, her first album was released, and in that same year, she co-hosted Penthouse Live! with Martin Nievera.
She started her singing career when she was 16-years-old. Pops also starred in various movies and television series. She was also appeared on numerous covers of the Philippine magazines, earned awards in the music industry, and toured in different countries for her concert. She was married to her singing partner, Martin Nievera who was also known as "The Concert King." The two had two sons, Robin and Ram. The relationship of the two didn't last long and eventually divorced in the year of 2000 for personal reason. However, despite everything, the two managed to build a good relationship with each other.
They remained working together and they also performed in several concerts and also singing events. Last 2013, Pops together with Martin Nievera, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and Ogie Alcasid performed Valentine's Day concert at MOA Arena.
Recently, Pops Fernandez was caught traveling across the countries exposing wonderful tourist spots of each place in the Balitang Artista's three-minute video clip. Pops was truly happy and enjoying her life outside the showbiz industry as we noticed her radiant and bright aura on the said video clip and also to the pictures of her that she was uploading on her social media account. Last February 24, Pops showed her support for the Mutia ti La Union 2018 Grand Coronation Night at the Poro Point Baywalk on her Instagram post.
However, Pops still appeared on some event. Last March 5 along with Martin Nievera, Solenn Heusaff, and Billy Crawford, she appeared in a Triple Crown Party of Toyota at the SMX Convention Center, MOA. On last March 6, Pops in her (Concert Queen Official Page), she uploaded a photo of her and her family. As she said that she was enjoying her quality time with her family.
