In Minneapolis, a 25-year-old café owner has been striving to save her business alive for some time now. The reason why the cafe owner, Cesia Abigail Baires couldn’t spare a homeless man any money when he came in to beg for change is that she could not afford to give anything out for free, even to her family as she told. But, still wishing for help, since she could use an extra hand in her café, she asked him if he wanted a job for the day. Baires said:

 “I’ve seen him going up and down on Main Street before like a lot of other homeless people. He walked into the restaurant and I felt a connection with him. He came in asking for money. I told him nothing is given for free here. Even my family pays when they come in here.”

The homeless man was pleased to her surprise. He quickly took the café owner on her offer and went to work immediately. Baires then discovered that the homeless man has been having a difficulty looking for a job because of his records. Baires gave him a sandwich to thank him for his help after the man finished his work for the day. But, he only consumed half of it and wrapped the other half in foil to give it to another homeless man outside the store instead of eating it.

Baires then inspired on what the homeless man does, she then posted the man's story in her social media account, wishing of raising some money for him. As of now, they already gained a total of $417 out of their goal of $1000, and the homeless man couldn’t be more grateful. The homeless man still goes to the café to give its kind owner a hand up to this day. He was forever thankful for the change she gave him to turn his life around.
