Seeing something as complicated and chic as an elevator is quite out of the ordinary for most Filipino home which is quite simple yet has a comfy ambiance. It seems like having a private passage comes in convenient for celebrities. Here is the list of some local celebrities who chose to put an elevator in their home which is quite useful:

1. Angelica Panganiban Angelica brought her elevator to reveal and enjoy the life of being single.

“Nung nangyari ‘yon [breakup], someone advised me na kailangan kong i-enjoy ito [singlehood], at hindi ko puwede gamitin ang ibang tao para mag-enjoy ako. So how would I enjoy? May nagsabi sa akin na, ‘Di ba gusto mong bumili ng bahay? Maghanap ka ngayon. Doon mo ubusin ang oras mo.”

2. Joel Cruz In Baguio City where Cruz' mansion is located in which they called it as:

“White House of the Lord of Scents.” 

According to Joel,

“There would be nine of us living there. My eight siblings and I and our mother. Each sibling would have his or her own room.” 

“The idea was for all of us to get back together again once all the siblings are retired.” 

Wherever his family is not in the mansion, his mansion is open for everyone.


3. Sharon Cuneta It was said that The Mega Star’s “The Fortress”has two elevators inside her home. One elevator is for delivering foods while the other one is for her mother Elaine Cuneta to transfer floors when she was still alive.


4. Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid The reason why Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid put an elevator inside their house is that for their aging parents. They shared,

“Kaya po kami may elevator, dahil po nung may sakit po ang ama ni Regine. At, syempre, yong mga magulang ko rin, yong mommy ko ay nasa 85 na rin, tatay ko 83." 

“Mataas po kasi itong bahay namin, so hindi sila basta-basta nakakataas [paakyat] Andyan na rin po yung elevator, so baka na rin sa pagtanda namin, magamit namin yung elevator.”


5. ZsaZsa Padilla and Conrad Onglao Since 2014 when ZsaZsa Padilla and Conrad Onglao living together shares that they have also put an elevator inside their glass house which is located in Makati City. However, they reveal that instead of the fully-functioning elevator, they still prefer using the stairs.

“Mas practical, and exercise na rin for us.”
