Having a family of their own is what the dreams of every married couple. Primarily, having children and having a happy and lively family is the ultimate happiness that any person could experience. But having children is also a fun and at the same time dangerous step that expecting parents must face. Some women still end up having difficulties wherein it can result at the end of the pregnancy or a lack of the baby, however, there are still many women who are able to deliver a baby normally. This certain woman who is still want to push through with her pregnancy in spite of all the dangers that can come on her way.

Lisa and Darren Hansen who is just newly married couple awaiting to have their first baby. The couple was also excited at the thought that they would create their own family soon just like any other couple out there.

And when they knew that they were having twins, the couple became more thrilled. Because of their excitements, the two already provided and made all the things that they needed as a new parent. They even think what they should probably call to their soon-to-be-born packages of happiness and they decided to name them River and Piper.

Unluckily, the joy that they feel would not last long after the doctors said that they discovered a complication and difficulty with the pregnancy of Lisa. As stated by her attending physician that her twins were suffering from an unusual situation. Her doctor also said to her that she has “monochorionic monoamniotic twins” that indicated that her babies were sharing one chorionic and amniotic sac.

This situation could occur in the involvement of their umbilical cords that makes either one or both of them can not get the proper nutrients that they needed as they grow inside of the womb of their mother. However, the couple declined to end their pregnancy which was the option that the doctors give. Her husband, Darren were relocated for a work that he got before he impregnated his wife which makes the things worse.

This implies that the couple needed to part their ways from each other since Lisa was staying at the hospital because she needed to be monitored 24/7. After a few months, it was finally the time for Lisa to gave birth. Fortunately, the babies were healthy and they were normal twins although they were born prematurely.
